Line & Shape
I chose to shoot my photo in my friends backyard at the dock he had. I chose to shoot the horizon on the taunton river. I was pretty close to the dock and the wheelbarrow when i took the picture. My point of view was straight on in this photo and the photo was in a horizontal view. Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe. I did consider the rule of thirds when i took my photo. I put the dock in the lower right part of the image when i did this. In the dock picture i wanted the viewer to follow the dock by starting at the wheel barrel and then to follow the dock. Following the dock would eventually lead into the water so the viewer can see the horizon.
Pattern/Black & White
The image i am going to be reflecting on is the 6th image. The distance of the shot is from very close. The point of view of the image was straight on and the image is also horizontal. This image follows the rule of thirds because the main focus of the image is the sign that is to the left. The pattern of the image comes from the fence that is in the background. The lines from the fence have repetition which helps with the pattern.
